- WHAT IS NEUROBICS -
"Neurobics" is a term coined by the renowned Dr. Lawrence Katz. It is a new science of brain exercises that were devised based on extensive scientific evidence conducted by Dr Lawrence Katz and Dr. Manning Rubin. Together they co-authored the popular book “Keep Your Brain Alive, 83 Neurobic Exercises to Help Prevent Memory Loss and Increase Mental Fitness.” (click to site)
Neurobics are simple exercises that use the 5 senses- TOUCH-SOUND-TASTE-SMELL-SIGHT together with emotions in unexpected ways that have remarkable results. Neurobics challenges your memory, attention, logic as well as verbal skills and encourages you to disrupt your everyday routines. By doing so, the brain reignites new pathways and connections that were underused and hence strengthens the nerve connections and receivers. In exchange you benefit from having a more elastic and fit mind which helps in memory- remembering people's names, or where you parked your car, so you become a more creative and balanced individual.
- WE ADVOCATE HOLISTIC SOCIAL NEUROBICS -
In his theory, Dr. Katz explains the importance of these exercises but also emphasizes the importance of socializing as being a major part of brain maintenance. Based on this, we design and provide environments that challenge your mind as well as foster collaboration and socialization. We strive to engage all your senses and emotions in our games in a fun and immersive way. We believe all his recommended exercises can and should be done at any point of your day from anywhere (and if you subscribe to our mailing list, we will share and challenge you with fun activities you can do at any time).
But, we do more, we make a bigger statement! Because your brain is so important, we want you to make a conscious effort to exercise it. So we decided to have a dedicated space for socializing and playing games (exercising the brain) just like the gym! Brain gym!
